Marisa Poster
Co-founder, PerfectTed

Marisa Poster is one of the most exciting founders in Britain. As a student in the US, the coffee and energy drinks she relied on were making her ADHD and anxiety worse, so she switched to matcha. When she moved to London in 2020 and struggled to find any she liked, she co-founded PerfectTed with Levi and Teddie Levenfiche at a kitchen table, teaching herself graphic design to create the brand.
On BBC One's Dragons' Den she told the nation she has ADHD, and walked out with offers from all five Dragons. Backed by Steven Bartlett, PerfectTed was named the UK's fastest-growing founder-led business in the 2025 FEBE Growth 100, is now stocked in more than 35,000 locations across more than 50 countries, and is on track for $100 million in annual recurring revenue in 2026. Marisa has been named in Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe and shortlisted for Veuve Clicquot's 2026 Bold Future Award.
In this fireside chat with Henry Shelford, CEO of ADHD UK, Marisa talks candidly about building a category-leading business with an ADHD brain: the early product decisions, the leap into major UK retailers, how hyperfocus and instinct-led decision-making have shaped her as a founder, and the real trade-offs of doing it all with ADHD.
