Catherine Hinwood OBE

Catherine was appointed NHS England’s ADHD Programme Director in December 2023. She leads NHS England’s work to improve service provision and experience for those with ADHD and their families and supports its ADHD taskforce. Catherine is also NHS England’s Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence Programme Director. Catherine was awarded an OBE in King Charles’s first honours list in 2023 and received the 2023 University of Technology, Sydney Law Alumni Award. Catherine is an Adjunct Fellow of the Law Faculty of the University of Technology, Sydney.
Lucinda Miller
Founder and Clinical Lead of NatureDoc
Lucinda Miller is the clinical lead of the UK-wide NatureDoc team specialising in supporting neurodivergent minds. With over 25 years of experience as a naturopath and qualifications in Functional Medicine, Lucinda has authored three bestselling books The Good Stuff, I Can’t Believe It’s Baby Food and Brain Brilliance. She lectures at the leading UK nutrition colleges and is a popular speaker at schools. She and two of her children live and thrive with ADHD.
Dr Louise Morpeth
CEO of Brain in Hand
Louise has over 20 years of senior leadership experience in the independent sector developing and testing innovations to improve user outcomes. She joined Brain in Hand in 2018 as Head of R&D and became Chief Exec in 2019.
Until 2017, she was CEO of the Dartington Social Research Unit, a national research charity that brought evidence to bear on policy and practice. Louise was awarded a PhD by Exeter University in 2003 and is a fellow of the NHS Innovation Accelerator.
Tania Martin
Founder & Neuro-inclusion Consultant, Trainer and Speaker
Tania Martin is the founder of PegSquared and an experienced Neuro-inclusion consultant, speaker and trainer. She helps workplaces navigate neurodiversity at both an organisation and individual level. From her time leading the award-winning UK’s Neuro-Diverse Centre of Excellence at EY, she provides a real world company lens on neuro-inclusion. This is underpinned by 20+ years’ experience of leading complex transformation programmes across both people and technology in large global organisations. These skills together enable her to bring a unique perspective to organisations wanting to create neuro-inclusive workplaces. Her journey also includes navigating her own career with ADHD, diagnosed in 2022, providing a distinctive firsthand perspective on neurodiversity at work.

Dr Samantha Hiew is a storyteller trained in medical science PhD, specialising in demystifying ADHD & neurodiversity. Sam’s work bridges two worlds – those with lived experiences of neurodivergence & those without – so we work towards integration within society.

Sarah Templeton has ADHD. She is the CEO and Founder of ADHD Liberty, the number one charity focused on ADHD in the criminal justice system. Dr Tom Nicholson has ADHD. He is a star academic in the field of understanding ADHD and the neurodivergent experience. There are positives of having ADHD but sometimes, the research doesn’t reflect this! This is a detailed understanding and map to help articulate the positives of ADHD in your life.

Unmasking the journey; ADHD, invisible illness, and the power of women’s voices
Oli invites you into her world of masking and unmasking, of hiding and thriving, and of well-being strategies as she explores what it means to live fully with ADHD. Reflecting on this journey, she reveals how it led her to guide a multidisciplinary team in the groundbreaking project Hiding or Thriving: The Lived Experiences and Coping Strategies of Women and Gender-Diverse People with ADHD. Together, they ask women and gender diverse people to share their stories, piecing together the first threads of a larger, shared narrative in the ADHD community Healing Project. Oli will touch on some of their early discoveries, offering a glimpse into this unfolding collective experience.

Ashleigh Behrens will present her PhD research, exploring the experiences and relationships ADHDers have at school. Lucas Sach will follow with his honours research, including interviews with females with ADHD, looking at their personal school experiences as a female with ADHD. Finally, hear from Stephanie, a 20-year-old with ADHD, as she shares her journey following a late diagnosis and reflects on her school experiences.

Izabella Risteski
ADHD Neural Coach
Izabella will explore critical gaps in ADHD management highlighted by a recent study on individuals’ experiences with diagnosis. She will discuss the challenges, including barriers to obtaining an ADHD diagnosis, the masking effects seen in those diagnosed later in life, and emphasise the importance for comprehensive post-diagnosis support.

In her presentation, Kate will explore and discuss the newly developed ADHD Prescribing Guide for Australian Healthcare Professionals, its contributors and highlight the key contents along with the rationale behind the recommendations. The guide aims to deepen prescribers’ understanding, enhance confidence, and promote more consistent practices. Although focused on medication, it underscores the importance of combining non-medication strategies for optimal patient outcomes.
