Biography
Employment Partner at Thackray Williams LLP
Emma, Joint Managing Partner at Thackray Williams effective from 1 April 2025, leads the Commercial Group with responsibility for technology, business development, strategic recruitment, and people initiatives. A graduate of Reading University and the College of Law, London, she began her career with a London law firm before joining Thackray Williams, where she completed her Training Contract, was appointed Partner in 2012, and went on to head the Employment Law Team from 2015. She has extensive expertise across all areas of employment law, including complex contractual matters, post-termination restrictions, TUPE and corporate transactions, restructuring and dismissals, tribunal claims, immigration compliance, discrimination and harassment, family rights, and negotiated settlements. Emma’s appointment as Joint Managing Partner reflects her proven leadership, strategic vision, and commitment to driving the firm’s continued growth and success. Outside of her professional responsibilities, she enjoys spending time with her family.

Is it possible to share the slides also
The gentleman who left his role as his employer failed to make reasonable adjustments, would he not have won at a tribunal? I have suspected ADHD (i’ve had an assessment however im on the call for my sons diagnosed ADHD) and physically disabled and my employer refuses my continued WFH blended working that has worked really well. I just fear I will end up resigning but want to fight for my rights. I’d hope equality act would cover disabled people like your client and someone like myself though?
