Biography

Founder of Parents Voices

Ceri Reed founded Parents Voices in Wales CIC in 2018 to elevate the voices of parents and carers as experts in their children, to meet the needs of neurodivergent children and young people who frequently experience cooccurring mental health challenges, emotionally based school avoidance, isolations and exclusions.

Ceri provides an online peer mentoring group for families across Wales but also works with Welsh Government, Health, Education and across sector to promote an early help and whole system approach in meeting holistic needs by undertaking coproduction and inclusion training with schools and services.

Ceri is the co-Chair of the Welsh Government’s Neurodivergence Ministerial Advisory Group that seeks to co-develop the Autism Code of Practice to a Neurodivergence Code of Practice, enabling the whole system to move away from a medical model and move towards a biopsychosocial model for all age groups.
