Nick Fundraising video
Hello to everyone at the ADHD UK Conference. My name is Nick, and I'm a very proud advocate of ADHD UK. So this summer, I decided to fundraise for the charity by running a 97 kilometer ultra marathon. And this was a great challenge particularly due to the hot weather that we experienced during the summer, but ultimately it was for a far greater purpose. And this was to raise money for the charity so they can continue their fantastic work for improving the lives of those with ADHD. So I was personally diagnosed with the condition when I was 14, so I, firsthand experienced the challenges and also the opportunities that this disability presents.
And ultimately, think that any money that is raised towards the charity will help them to increase accessibility and also conduct fantastic groundbreaking research into the condition. So I would strongly recommend that anyone at the ADHD UK Conference should get involved in fundraising initiatives. Maybe it's a bake sale. Maybe it's a running event. Whatever kind of floats your boat, I think would be really beneficial to the charity, and I know that the money raised would go towards a great purpose. So I hope you enjoy the rest of the conference, and I hope that you get involved in this fantastic charity because the work that they do is truly amazing.
