Dr Aja Murray is a Professor of Developmental Psychology of Mental Health at the University of Edinburgh. Her research looks at mental health across the lifespan. A particular area of focus is on the links between ADHD and mental health, especially the role of emotion (dys-)regulation.
Emma Thompson

Emma, Joint Managing Partner at Thackray Williams effective from 1 April 2025, leads the Commercial Group with responsibility for technology, business development, strategic recruitment, and people initiatives. A graduate of Reading University and the College of Law, London, she began her career with a London law firm before joining Thackray Williams, where she completed her Training Contract, was appointed Partner in 2012, and went on to head the Employment Law Team from 2015. She has extensive expertise across all areas of employment law, including complex contractual matters, post-termination restrictions, TUPE and corporate transactions, restructuring and dismissals, tribunal claims, immigration compliance, discrimination and harassment, family rights, and negotiated settlements. Emma’s appointment as Joint Managing Partner reflects her proven leadership, strategic vision, and commitment to driving the firm’s continued growth and success. Outside of her professional responsibilities, she enjoys spending time with her family.

Dr Tom Nicholson

Dr Tom Nicholson is an Assistant Professor of Mental Health Nursing at Northumbria University and a keynote-speaker, trainer, and advocate for ADHD. His research explores the lived experiences of parents of ADHD children and the tension between medical and neurodiversity paradigms of ADHD. Dr Tom is a registered mental health nurse with experience working within the neurodevelopmental assessment service within the Children and Young People’s service. Diagnosed with ADHD in childhood, Tom uses his personal lived experience of ADHD alongside his clinical and academic background to give a multitude of perspectives to his work.

Dr. Jessica Eccles
Associate Professor in Brain-Body Medicine
Dr Eccles is an award-winning researcher and a neurodevelopmental psychiatrist specialising in the links between brain and body, especially as they relate to flexible joints (hypermobility) and neurodivergence. She trained in medicine at the Universities of Cambridge and Oxford. As well as her University position at Brighton and Sussex Medical School as Associate Professor (Reader) in Brain-Body Medicine in the Department of Clinical Neuroscience, she works in the Sussex NHS Neurodevelopmental Service (ADHD, Autism and Tourette syndrome) where she and colleagues have set up the world’s first Neurodivergent Brain Body Clinic. She chairs the Royal College of Psychiatrist’s Neurodevelopmental Psychiatry Special Interest Group – bringing together neurodevelopmental clinicians across the country. As a neurodivergent scientist, clinican and communicator, she hopes to challenge stereotypes and encourage curiosity. Alongside all things brain and body she is interested in photography.

Dr Sai Achuthan is an accomplished Consultant Psychiatrist with specialist expertise in neurodevelopmental psychiatry, particularly Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD and substance misuse. With over a decade of senior clinical and leadership experience across the NHS and private sector, he is known for his thoughtful, evidence-based and compassionate approach to assessment and care.

Lex Harvey-Bryn is a coach, therapist, and advocate specialising in ADHD, Autism, and neurodiversity. She is the founder of Coaching Neurodiversity and co-founder of NeuroChicks, a platform dedicated to empowering ADHD and AuDHD minds through coaching, community, and radical honesty. With a background in law, leadership, and mental health, Lex brings both professional expertise and lived experience to her work, championing inclusion and belonging in education, workplaces, and beyond.
Ben Branson
Ben Branson is widely credited as the pioneer of the non-alcoholic drinks revolution, when he launched Seedlip – the world’s first distilled non-alcoholic spirit in 2015. A decade later he is redefining the category again with his distillery and maturation lab Sylva, an aged non-alcoholic spirit made from trees.Following a late autism and adhd diagnosis, last year Ben launched his award-winning neurodiversity charity The Hidden 20% to champion different thinking. They have built a 175k strong community, chart topping podcast and mixed media campaign to date with much more planned!

Kaye Heyes is an ADHD & autistic coach and coaching supervisor, who creates neuro-affirming and courageous spaces for people to explore and uncover their true selves. Kaye previously worked as a senior manager in universities until severe burnout in her 50’s led to both her ADHD diagnosis and deciding to leave work to take a Masters in positive psychology and coaching. Kaye founded Positively ADHD to bring the language and science of positive psychology flourishing to other late-diagnosed neurodivergent adults. She has developed Find Your WayPower, a strengths-based approach for other adults with ADHD to build connection, courage, and a felt sense of community, so that they never have to rely on willpower alone again.

Esther Barrett was 53 when she was diagnosed with ADHD. After 25 years in education consultancy, facilitation, and training, she became a coach, supervisor and coach trainer working with ADHD and neurodivergent clients. She works with her son Lewis, who also has ADHD.
Ceri Reed
Founder of Parents Voices
Ceri Reed founded Parents Voices in Wales CIC in 2018 to elevate the voices of parents and carers as experts in their children, to meet the needs of neurodivergent children and young people who frequently experience cooccurring mental health challenges, emotionally based school avoidance, isolations and exclusions.
Ceri provides an online peer mentoring group for families across Wales but also works with Welsh Government, Health, Education and across sector to promote an early help and whole system approach in meeting holistic needs by undertaking coproduction and inclusion training with schools and services.
Ceri is the co-Chair of the Welsh Government’s Neurodivergence Ministerial Advisory Group that seeks to co-develop the Autism Code of Practice to a Neurodivergence Code of Practice, enabling the whole system to move away from a medical model and move towards a biopsychosocial model for all age groups.

Lisa Kerr is an ADHD & Autism coach and keynote speaker on neurodiversity. She’s also a Chartered Accountant with a Corporate Finance and HR background. For more than 20 years Lisa held senior financial and operational roles from global professional services firms to regional SMEs. After ADHD and Autism diagnoses in her 40s, Lisa launched Think Exceptionally in 2020, providing neurodiversity talks and training to businesses and coaching to neurodivergent adults. She helps people to develop strategies and tools to draw on their strengths and support their challenges so they can flourish authentically.
Dr Tim Kendall CBE
Psychiatrist and Leader in UK Mental Health
Tim is national clinical lead for new models of mental health care, having been National Clinical Director for Mental Health in England (2016-2023), providing advice across government/NHS, leading modernisation of mental health and increasing funding for MH services in England by £3.3 Billion per year. As Founding Director of the National Collaborating Centre for Mental Health (NCCMH; 2001-2016), Tim led the development of more than 30 NICE guidelines, chairing the first NICE guideline in 2002. Now, International Director at NCCMH, Tim has consulted to a diverse range of foreign governments and institutions, including Turkey, Georgia, Qatar, South Korea, California, Finland, Sweden, Germany, Denmark, Netherlands and China.
Tim developed/hosted the first Global Ministerial Summit in Mental Health in London in 2018, Tim has been a member of the steering group at each subsequent summit including Amsterdam, Paris, Rome, Buenos Aires and, next year, in Qatar.
Tim is consultant psychiatrist, has published widely (awarded the 2004 Lancet Paper of the Year Award), is visiting Professor at UCL (2009-), Honorary Professor at the University of Sheffield (2022-), conferred with two honorary doctorates (Open University 2019; University of Sheffield 2020). He was awarded a CBE in the Kings New Years Honours list in 2024.

Dr. Alison Poulton
Dr Poulton is an academic paediatrician with the University of Sydney. She has 30 years of experience of working with children and young people with ADHD and their families. She is committed to training GPs in the management of ADHD and runs an ADHD clinic with Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District. She has an educational website (www.poultonadhd.com.au) to improve community understanding of ADHD which has around 500 visits per month.
Dr. Samantha Hiew
Dr. Samantha Hiew is a multi-award-winning storyteller with a PhD in cancer research and a mission to humanise neurodiversity through a scientific and intersectional lens. Diagnosed with ADHD and autism in her 40s, she founded ADHD Girls, a social impact platform that blends science (data) with soul (stories of our lives) to create a community where neurodivergent women feel seen, understood, and empowered. Her latest book, “Tip of the ADHD Iceberg,” offers a practical & compassionate roadmap for navigating life after diagnosis.

Dr Kerry Chant AO PSM MBBS, FAFPHM, MHA, MPH. Chief Health Officer, Deputy Secretary, Population and Public Health. NSW Ministry of Health. Dr Kerry Chant, Chief Health Officer and Deputy Secretary for Population and Public Health, is a public health physician. Kerry has extensive public health experience, having held senior positions in NSW Health since 1991. Her previous appointments include Director of Health Protection NSW, Deputy Chief Health Officer, and Director of the South Western Sydney Local Health District Public Health Unit. She has a particular interest in blood-borne virus infections, health equity, communicable diseases prevention and control, and Aboriginal health. Throughout her career, Kerry has provided leadership and advocacy on key public health issues, including reducing obesity, aiming for the virtual elimination of HIV transmission in NSW, reducing tobacco and vaping harms, and supporting hepatitis C treatment and control.
Dr Oli Meredith
Dr Oli Meredith (she/they) is a first-generation Australian, queer, neurodivergent (AuDHD) public health researcher at Charles Sturt University on Ngunnawal Country. She leads the ADHD Hiding or Thriving study with a collaborative cross-institutional team of ADHD researchers exploring the lived experiences of women and gender-diverse people and is also the founder of the ADHD Community Healing Project, which harnesses collective creativity and lived experience to reframe and deepen understandings of ADHD and neurodivergence. Oli is passionate about inclusive and creative approaches to education at all levels and argues that society short-changes itself by perpetuating barriers to neurodivergent learners. Viewing neurodiversity (distinct from neurodivergence) as a powerful lens on cognitive diversity in society, Oli grounds her research in community-led knowledge and the conviction that health research becomes transformative only when it honours complexity, connection, and care.
Robyn Jarman
Robyn Jarman is a Lecturer of Haematology at Charles Sturt University and loves passing on her extensive industry knowledge and practical experience in medical laboratory science to the next generation of Medical Scientists. Her teaching style is student centred. She is passionate about inclusive teaching practices and the pedagogy of kindness. Robyn is currently undertaking a Master of Philosophy at CSU – her research is focusing on the experiences of neurodivergent students in work integrated learning subjects.
Dr. Shae Wissell
Dr. Shae Wissell is a prominent advocate and researcher for adults with dyslexia and neurodivergence. She holds a Master of Public Health and Health Administration and a Doctor of Public Health, is a certified speech pathologist, and has extensive entrepreneurial experience in health and social enterprise. As the director of re:think dyslexia and founder and chair of the Dear Dyslexic Foundation, Shae uses her research, lived experience and expertise to provide coaching, advocacy, and workforce solutions for individuals and organisations. Her research focuses on the lived experiences of adults with dyslexia in Australia, addressing social inequalities in healthcare, education, and employment and has been published locally and internationally.

Hannah Brown is an Adelaide-born, globally trained executive leader at the intersection of research, innovation, and impact. As Chief Idea Sparkler, Founder and CEO of Sparkle Ideas Lab, she helps organisations cut through the noise, make sense of complexity, and turn bold ideas into real-world change. Her career spans leadership of the South Australian Research and Development Institute (SARDI) as Executive Director, and strategy, innovation and operations at the Victorian Heart Institute (VHI) . Hannah thrives at the interface between science and society: breaking down barriers, building unlikely partnerships, and translating knowledge into action Right now, she’s working on a range of exciting projects – including her book Wired to Lead, reimagining what modern leadership can look like when we celebrate the brains that don’t fit the mould.

Kate Taylor – As Melba Support Services Innovation Lead, Kate Taylor is passionate about projects that centre lived experience, accessibility and human rights. With a current focus on the Melba Intimacy Project, Kate is leading the work that strives to close the intimacy gap experienced by people.

Lorana Bartels (BA LLB LLM PhD GDLP GCTE) is a Professor of Criminology at the Australian National University. She is also an Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of Canberra and University of Tasmania, Fellow of the Australian Academy of Law, and Associate of the Australian ADHD Professionals Association Ltd. She is a member of the editorial boards of the Alternative Law Journal, Criminal Law Journal, Current Issues in Criminal Justice, International Journal of Offender Therapy and Comparative Criminology, and Journal of Criminology, and board director of the Justice Reform Initiative and ConFit Pathways.

Dr. Naser Zamani
Dr Naser Zamani is the founder and director of CreativiTek. He has extensive research and teaching experience in educational technology, community engagement and empowerment, and innovation systems. Over the past 10 years, his focus has been on immersive augmented and virtual reality technologies. At CreativiTek, he has managed several projects that use immersive technologies to engage and educate communities.
Rebecca McLinden
Rebecca McLinden is a Behaviour Analyst and Advanced Behaviour Support Practitioner who works closely with neurodivergent people and their families. As both a professional and a proud ADHDer herself, she combines evidence-based practice with lived experience to bring fresh insight and understanding. Rebecca is passionate about making behavioural science accessible, relatable, and genuinely helpful for parents, carers, educators, and individuals navigating ADHD.
Errol Benvie
Errol Benvie’s career spans over three decades from South Africa to Australia in leadership and CEO roles, where he then completed his Masters in Organizational (Applied Psychology) Coaching at the University of Sydney. He then co-founded his consultancy Wisdom Labs, where he and his colleagues mine the Humanities databases for knowledge that can be translated into practical applications for clients.
Moonlake Lee
Moonlake Lee is the Founder and Director of Unlocking ADHD, a registered IPC charity. Diagnosed with ADHD at the age of 50, a year after her teenage daughter received the same diagnosis, Moonlake brings a powerful lived experience to her advocacy work. Deeply committed to bringing global best practices to Singapore, Moonlake stays at the forefront of international ADHD developments and is a member of the Clinical Practice Guidelines (CPG) on ADHD Workgroup, which is working to develop and implement evidence-based clinical guidelines for adult ADHD in Singapore.
